Moving

I’m moving to Brisbane on Wednesday. The house is nice and cheap, but it has a dark green carpet! Why why why? I am feeling inspired by twinkling lights today, so that’s going to be a main feature of the new room. I also want to decorate with those cardboard/recycled-look desk organisational items from Kikki.k – I am crazy for stationary. I’m also planning to put in an order for my new quad-core iMac with i7 processor on Monday. Very exciting!

I just can’t get over that green carpet!

cover it up with pretty rugs? or just avoid looking down altogether haha
that must be so exciting to have your own place to decorate, everytime i go op shopping i keep finding all these lovely furniture/tchotchke type things but i have nowhere to place them because i only have one room :(

    Since seeing it in real-life (instead of pictures) I've discovered that the carpet isn't green afterall! It's blue-grey, which is much nicer!

    I'm definitely going to get some kind of nice rug though! :)

okay first up, good luck with the move. it can be a stressful time! when in doubt, throw stuff out.

secondly, i think i light the dark green carpet. it sounds like something i would like. i like weirdly decorated houses.
my friend bought a 70s apartment that had dark green carpet and she ripped it out straight away. i was devastated. i felt it added charm.

thirdly, i am so jealy of your quad core.
i want a new mac bad.

i must come visit, plus you must come visit sydney sometime.
i must admit i was a bad cousin around christmas time- fresh tattoos tend to not go down so well with grandma neither does staying in lennox with no mode of transportation.
anyways, tangent aside. i like the blog, and loving all your illustrations :)
