I’m mildly obsessed with wooden heels and platforms. So when I spotted these in Sportsgirl, I pretty much fell in love. I just wish they were taller. The leather on them is buttery soft and gorgeous. They remind me a little of a low-key version of these Martin Margiela clogs, which I also love:

Kristen Stewart’s nail polish at MTV Movie Awards.
I was obsessed with this nailpolish colour from the moment I saw it. It doesn’t happen often for me, because I’m not really a nailpolish person. Last time a certain shade of nailpolish had this kind of affect over me, it was the taupe colour from Chanel’s SS10 runway.
I had been searching for longer than I care to admit and China Glaze for Audrey seems to be the closest match:

It’s available at 8ty8beauty.com, transdesign.com and head2toebeauty.com.

Here’s Australian model Catherine Mcneil at a party at the LV store in Melbourne wearing the same dress Leighton Meester wore to the Louis Vuitton show a few weeks ago. Who do you think wore it better? This dress is amazing; I’m developing a minor obsession!

Love that Hermés watch so much that I want to cry.
There’s nothing I dislike more than delicate, little women’s watches. Give me a classic, sexy, man-style watch any day of the week. I love the look of a beautifully tailored, feminine dress with an oversized masculine watch. Not those gross plastic-looking ones with all the contraptions, mind you. More like simple, classic silver. Maybe a leather band.
I love the feeling of a watch weighing your wrist down a little bit. I get the same sort of thrill from wearing chunky heels or heavy material. It just makes you feel like you’re wearing something of substance.
I never thought I’d be using the adjective ‘chunky’ to describe loved fashion accessories, but there you go. Chunky chunky chunky.

I’m not an avid trend-follower, but I love unique tights as a trend. It’s such an easy, affordable way to keep your outfits relevant and fashion-concious. And, of course, super cute. Two leg-related looks I’ve seen everywhere this season are Dotted tights (see Balenciaga, above) and Two-tone Tights. (continue reading) I think they’re such a great way to add a bit of interesting quirkiness to an otherwise unadventurous outfit.
