I think Léa Seydoux has one of the most beautiful and unique faces of any actress in the world right now. I love her natural, low-key makeup and relaxed personal style that the French seem to do so well. She’s definitely my style inspiration of the moment.
The only unfortunate thing is that she makes me want a thick, blunt fringe. Sadly, my hair is too thin and fine to achieve such a look. Damn you Léa and Zooey!
This is a bit of a random post for this blog, but you must check out my amazingly talented friend Katie. She writes beautiful songs. This one was written and recorded in under an hour. I want an mp3 copy to listen to on my iPhone – got that, Katie?
I wish could sing and play guitar. Out of all artistic talents, I consider music to be the greatest in the way it affects people so immediately and directly. Drawing is nice, but it can never make an impression on people in the way music can – at least, in my opinion.
Of course, I consider film the ultimate in artistic expression because it encompasses images, movement and sound, but still, it’s never as immediate or personal as music can be.
This post is a continuation of my Chile post from a few days ago. Colombia was my favourite country in South America. It’s so widely misunderstood and wrongly labeled. Colombians are the most warm-hearted, friendly, lovely people and the country is incredibly beautiful and interesting.
*note: my camera was stolen in Buenos Aires, so most of these photos are from friend’s cameras.

I’m generally less familiar with the male modeling world, so if you think there’s a model that deserves to be on this list, please write their name (and why) in the comments!
Who is your all time favourite male model? Who is your favourite from this list? I always think the boys in the Burberry Campaigns are gorgeous, but never know who they are.
This editorial is gorgeous. I love its mix of the demure and erotic, the feminine aesthetic and the soft colours. Just beautiful! Continue reading for more photographs from this editorial by the amazing David Bellemère and a little how-to recreate this aesthetic yourself.
Do you have particular songs that remind you of a certain holiday, summer, year of your life?
Llamada de Emergencia by Daddy Yankee reminds me so much of South America, especially Peru and Colombia. Daddy Yankee is huge over there! The song isn’t my taste at all (I’m more of a Simon and Garfunkel, Kinks, Beatles, Velvet Undergound person ) but I love it for all the memories it has for me. Actually, necesito practicar mi español. Antes, yo sabía todas las palabras de esta canción. ¿Quizá debo blog en español? jaja.
What songs hold particular memories for you? I love listening on songs from my tween years – Blink 182, No Doubt, Garbage, The Spice Girls. I was also a massive fan of Madonna (Material Girl, Lucky Star etc) and Elvis as a 10 year old, even though they were well before my time.
